I’m Ellie, a ceramicist based at the Manchester Ceramics Collective in Old Trafford and also work in the Interior Design Industry. I have been working with clay for nearly 7 years and now run workshops that combine my knowledge in interior design and with clay.
I aim to offer workshops that are more than just ceramics. Following an extremely difficult year where I lost someone incredibly special to me to mental health, I’ve had an overwhelming desire to do something that makes a difference.
Mental health is becoming more prominent than it ever has before, with an overwhelming amount of life pressures. At Sculpt and Sip, I aim to create a peaceful, mindful environment where people can come, connect, relax and escape from the stresses of busy lives and focus on the task of creating (over a glass of Prosecco or a non-alcoholic alternative!)

Absolutely! We work with a variety of restaurants, bars and venues in the heart of Manchester where we can host workshops for you if you don't have your own venue.
However, if you'd like to host the workshop in the comfort of your own home, or an air bnb, an office or any private venues - we can come to you!

Definitely not. Many people enjoy a glass of Prosecco while getting creative. However, all our events are about creating workshops with you in mind - we can cater to both; with drinks, with delicious non-alcoholic alternatives or both!

We provide protective aprons, but we recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little paint on.
